Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What sizes are the downloadable files?
A: These files are full resolution files at 300 DPI for both JPEG and TIFF file formats. In printing terms, you can print the images on a large format medium. A large format example is 24x36 inches. If you have a specific size you are curious about don't hesitate to contact me in the Custom Request | Ask a Question form below.

Q: Are the Portrait and the Landscape images the same size?
A: Both pictures are similar sizes and both are in the 2:3 format. The Portrait image can look larger depending on your screen because of how the image fills that side of this web page.

Q: What is the ratio of the file?
A: The ratio is 2:3. The standard printing sizes of a 2:3 ratio in inches are 4x6, 8x12, 12x18, 16x24, 20x30, 24x36

Q: Should I choose the JPEG or the TIFF?
A: This is a personal choice and depends on what you want to use the file for. If you want to print the picture at home, or a local/online retailer then a JPEG is going to be the best fit. If you are more experienced and want to make adjustments before printing or want to create your own edit using a photo editing program than the TIFF file would be a better fit.

Q: Can I use this image on my company's website?
A: No, these images are for personal use only as stated in the Copyright and Licensing Notice. If you would like to use these images for commercial use please feel free to contact me and we can discuss licensing fees.
